Until a few years ago, application was almost exclusively done directly with the pressure from the melting plant. But wherever precise adhesive application in an automatic system is required, dosing pumps are used as close as possible to the application nozzle. Due to the short reaction time, more or less targeted application is possible, depending on speed or dynamically, or the start and end of the adhesive can be perfectly controlled. Differences in the adhesive consistencies (viscosities) also play a minor role when volumetric dosing is used.
Depending on the application, dosing valves, piston or gear pumps are used.
- balti also has probably the best and largest experience in hotmelt dosing and the largest product range. E.g. dosing pump valve DPV-100 up to 100 cm3/min Delivery rate with only approx. 3 kg weight.
- Dosing modules are expandable with various process control functions.
