In close cooperation with machine manufacturers, but also with end customers, balti supplies innovative solutions in the field of adhesive binding of book spines. The trend towards reactive hotmelt gluing is best answered by balti with a patented slot nozzle technology. Whether single-gripper binders, multi-gripper systems in a throughput process with up to 15'000 books per hour or fully automatic single book production (book-on-demand; photo books etc.), balti concepts with corresponding application control are convincing.

OEM Book Binding Gluing System

Drum, bag and tank melter for filling of roller application systems as well as slot nozzle technology for reactive hotmelt application, some with customer-specific design, are supported by balti. Whether high performance or smallest systems, balti has the right solution.

Retrofitting existing adhesive binders

The latest technology is retrofitted by balti to existing adhesive binders according to customer specifications. With the autonomous control system and an insert carriage adapted to the adhesive binder type, retrofitting is simple and can be carried out independently of the adhesive binder manufacturer.

Single book production / Photo album production

balti supplies fully automatic application systems integrated in a "drawer" with autonomous linked control. Book data transmitted by the overall system are processed and applied to standing book spines by a cartesian robot system. A self-contained system can process up to 10 different books of 2 to 60 mm thickness per minute.
