Following extensive preliminary studies and testing, balti is able to deliver a fully automated coating and laminating system for the production of thermoplastic casting material for immobilization (as an alternative to plaster). A flexible base material is selectively stretched and fully impregnated with plastic – partly colored directly in the process – then surface-laminated with a gauze and cooled, before being held in an intermediate buffer for further processing.
