Analogous to the automotive industry, balti supplies OEM, suppliers and large machine integrators with hotmelt systems for the automatic application for the production of trailer walls for refrigerated vehicles or for the production of cabin interiors etc. Vandal resistant seats in many suburban and underground trains are laminates made of fabric, foil and wire mesh mostly manufactured on balti equipment.

Refrigerated Wagon Production

Roof, wall and floor elements as well as lashing rails and profiles are bonded with pressure-sensitive adhesive serving as assembly aids and permanently bonded with PUR hotmelt. In some cases, the assembly aid is applied directly with parallel 2K adhesive, whereby the latter takes over the high strength, but does not harden fast enough for fully automatic assembly.

Train Seats

Production of so-called "vandal-proof" seat covers. Bonding of fabric, wire mesh and foil in a continuous process. Who does not know the world-famous, timeless pattern that has been used for decades? Liquids as well as maltreatment with mechanical objects do not harm the cover.
